Seat Assignments

Thanks to our new interactive seat map, you can now select your seat(s) online when booking Alitalia-operated intercontinental flights.

How does it work?

You can access the interactive seat map from the bottom of the “PASSENGER DETAILS” page during the booking process. Select an available seat by clicking on the map. Once the seat is selected, its color will change from gray to green and the seat number will appear beside the passenger’s name. You can change your initial selection by simply clicking on another seat on the map. If you are booking more than one passenger, you can select all the seats simultaneously.

By clicking on the “NEXT FLIGHT” button, you can select your seat(s) for the remaining intercontinental flight(s) in your itinerary.

Once you have chosen your seat(s), you can complete your booking by clicking on the “PROCEED TO PAYMENT” button.

Please note that you still need to check-in at the airport and collect your boarding pass on the day of departure.

Seat assignments are not guaranteed. In the event of an aircraft change or for other operational reasons, Alitalia reserves the right to modify your seat selection
