When your baggage exceeds in number, dimension and/or weight the allowance required, an excess baggage charge has to be paid to Alitalia at the ticket desks at airport, according to the rates listed below.
Excess charge rates shown in the table below have to be considered per single flight segment and with the following currencies: EUR or equivalent from Europe, Japan, China; CAD or equivalent from Canada; USD from USA and Rest of the World.

Excess baggage in number of pieces, sizes and weight can be added up: for example, if in addition to the two pieces allowed, there is a third piece which is also over foreseen weight, total cost of excess baggage charged will be 200+100 euros or $.
Additional fees for issuance of receipts may apply and will be charged to the requesting passengers.
