Excess Baggage Charge

ACHETER UNE FRANCHISE BAGAGE SUPPLEMENTAIRE ET ECONOMISEZ

Si vous avez déjà acheté un billet Alitalia et que vous prévoyez de voyager avec un bagage en plus hors franchise, vous avez la possibilité d’acheter une franchise bagage supplémentaire en ligne et économiser 20% sur le tarif qui serait appliqué à l’aéroport lors de votre enregistrement.

La surcharge pour le bagage supplémentaire ne peut être achetée que par le titulaire du billet et réglée par carte de crédit lors de l’enregistrement en ligne. Le Service d’enregistrement en ligne est disponible à partir de 30 heures avant le départ du vol.

REMBOURSEMENT

Vous pouvez prétendre à un remboursement intégral de la franchise bagage supplémentaire achetée à l’avance dans les cas suivants:

  • Votre vol n’est pas opéré par Alitalia.
  • Le vol prévu à l’origine a été annulé et vous n’avez pas accepté la solution alternative proposée par Alitalia.
  • Le bagage pour lequel vous avez acheté une franchise bagage supplémentaire est déclaré manquant et n’a pas été retrouvé dans le délai de 45 jours.

Vous n’avez pas droit à un remboursement si, après avoir acheté la surcharge de bagage supplémentaire, vous décidez de voyager avec moins de bagage/poids que prévu et payé à l’avance. Dans le cas ou vous voyagez avec un surplus de bagage/poids que celui inclus dans la franchise bagage supplémentaire achetée à l’avance, vous sera facturé au tarif normal d’excédent de bagage.

Toute demande de remboursement ne peut être soumise que sur se site Web Alitalia en complétant le formulaire approprié en ligne.

When your baggage exceeds in number, dimension and/or weight the allowance required, an excess baggage charge has to be paid to Alitalia at the ticket desks at airport, according to the rates listed below.
Excess charge rates shown in the table below have to be considered per single flight segment and with the following currencies: EUR or equivalent from Europe, Japan, China; CAD or equivalent from Canada; USD from USA and Rest of the World.


The table below lists the baggage allowance and excess rules that apply for tickets purchased on or after December, 3, 2013. Excess baggage charges shown in the table below are given in: EUR or equivalent from Europe, East Europe and Japan; CAD from Canada; USD from USA and rest of the world1.

4. Europe, East Europe, Middle East, North Africa (Premium Economy class is not available on these flows)
5. Middle East (Amman, Beirut, Abu Dhabi)
6. West Africa (Accra, Lagos); from/to Western Africa only 2 extrapiece is allowed

Excess baggage in number of pieces, sizes and weight can be added up: for example, if in addition to the two pieces allowed, there is a third piece which is also over foreseen weight, total cost of excess baggage charged will be 200+100 euros or $. 

Additional fees for issuance of receipts may apply and will be charged to the requesting passengers.

Code share flights

Please note that for code share flights is applied the baggage policy of the operating company partner over the entire flight, if the flight is operated entirely by the partner.
To know the baggage rules in case of connecting flights operated by different carriers please visit our Customer Center.
For flights from/to USA is applied the policy of the marketing carrier company, whose code is shown on the ticket.
